Preparing For Tomorrow. Making a Difference Today.
The Foshee & Yaffe, Attorneys at Law, law student intern program is an integral component of the Firm’s practice and service to clients.
For law students, the Firm’s intern program provides an opportunity to secure valuable, hands-on experience with a broad range of legal matters – including presence at client conferences; participation in case investigation, filing, discovery, and fact development; and attendance at judicial, administrative, and settlement proceedings. These experiences allow law student interns to gain a first-hand perspective on the practice of law; to apply substantive knowledge, research, writing, and critical thinking skills acquired through their ongoing legal education in circumstances that directly impact the lives and interests of clients; and to establish contacts and build relationships with future colleagues in the legal community.
For the Firm, the intern program provides an extended opportunity to observe and interact with individuals who will soon enter the legal profession. Through our internship program, Foshee & Yaffe, Attorneys at Law can evaluate and provide mentoring and guidance concerning an individual’s work-product; relationship building skills on an interpersonal, intra-office, and community level; and general fit with the Firm’s office culture and client base. The Firm frequently uses this evaluation period to inform decisions regarding potential future employment opportunities.
If you are a law student interested in potential intern opportunities, please contact the Firm’s office manager at (877) 423-8939, or email a cover letter and resume’ to email@example.com and Christopher B. Keim, who serves as the Firm’s Intern Program Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
